Statement of Faith.

Foundational Issues.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)

Those who sin will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21)

Jesus came to save sinners. (1 Timothy 1:15)

Jesus offers cleansing from sin for those who:

Believe in Jesus (John 3:16)

Confess their sin (1 John 1:9)

Repent (Mark 1:15, Luke 13:3 Acts 3:19, Acts 9:22, 2 Corinthians 7:10)

Live holy, free from willful sin (Luke 10:25-37, Matthew 25:31-46, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21, 1 John 2:3-4, 1 John 3:7-8)

Endure till the end (Ezekiel 18:24, Matthew 24:13, James 1:12)

On judgement day, you will be judged according to what you have done (Revelation 20:12-13, 2 Corinthians 5:10)

He who does what is right is righteous because God forgives those who confess and repent of all sin. (1 John 1:9, 1 John 3:7-8, Ezkeiel 18:4-9, 20-31)

Those who sin will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Revelation 21:8, Matthew 25:31-46, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21)

We also believe but consider non-essential for salvation:

Man is not born a sinner with a sin nature. This curse is never put on Adam and Eve in Genesis 3 and is clearly wrong from scripture. (Ezekiel 18:1-20, Ecllesiasties 7:29) Sin is transgresion of the law which means in order to be a sinner you must transgress the law. (1 John 3:4) When life begins at conception, you don’t even have a brain yet. You wouldn’t be able to transgress the law and therefore could not be a sinner at birth.

Jesus did not transfer his righteousness to us and become sin for us. Sin and righteousness is something you do and can’t be transferred (1 John 3:4-5, 1 John 3:7-8, Ezekiel 18:20-24) Jesus death on the cross cleanses us from sins previously comitted. (Romans 3:25-26, 1 John 1:9)
